Hello again to all my local readers! Last week I wrote up a little post about my grand opening experience at the new Metropolitan Market in Kirkland. Well I must say, we went back on Tuesday (not as busy!) and came away with our free pineapple, 2 lbs of bananas for $.64, 4 lbs. of Tillamook Cheese for $5.94 and ahem... 4 cupcakes from Cupcake Royale! (They were on sale, and might I say cupcakes are yummy but even yummier when you get them on sale!)
Alas, the sales last week are over but there are a couple of great deals worth mentioning for this week:

Local Snoqualamie Gourmet Ice Creams are on sale for $1.97 each!

Kirkland Locals: Check your mailboxes, today I received a Met Market flyer with a coupon for FREE Frozen Kobe Beef Gourmet Hamburger Patties!
Their grand opening parties with lots of samples are still going on throughout the next week. Saturday (6/12) may be a great day to go check it out because you could win FREE groceries from Organic Valley! Between 11am and 2pm some Organic Valley farmer-owners will be there to answer questions and surprise 2 shoppers with a week's worth of free food! The only requirement is that you have an Organic Valley product in your shopping cart already. Good Luck!
