I miss garage sale season! Who's with me?! I still have at least 2-3 months of off-season to go before I start seeing sales again.
Nothing too great at the thrifts lately either so I've been trying to list all my backlog of inventory while I have free time, sales are slow too so I guess it's just time to hunker down, stay warm, drink coffee and curl up with a good book!
There was a big estate sale just a few miles from our house on Saturday and we didn't go because we were afraid of being in close quarters with lots of people. The flu is hitting hard here, so we stayed home and watched movies all weekend. It was actually fun!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the flu thing, and its SO cold here; I think mostly I just really want the warm spring weather to show up!!
DeleteEven though I love yard sale season, it's really nice to take it easy on Sat mornings with my family right now. I'm relaxing and hitting a thrift store instead of spending five hours rushing from sale to to sale and then spending another two hours putting it all away when I get home! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah I've been thrifting a lot lately and my goal this year is to list every item I buy for resale within a week of buying it; I hate having all the things I've bought sit around forever for no reason other than laziness on my part! (unless its something specifically for a season or holiday!) So far its worked and I've had a lot of quick flips lately which is very nice!
